Being new to Omaha, she listened to our hopes for a home and really helped us narrow down where the best area would be for our family. Her opinions about a home or location were never biased or self-serving and always kept our personal interests/needs a priority. Kirstin was so knowledgeable and resourceful. She actually found our dream home BEFORE it hit the market. We were able to see the home before it got listed and immediately fell in love. Then, she helped negotiate an amazing offer. We were somewhat naive to how stressful the journey to closing can potentially be, and she continued to be such a tremendous support-- helping us sort through the complicated paperwork with lenders and the inspection. Any time we had a question, she was immediately accessible via call or text to offer guidance and support. Kirstin even connected us with wonderful carpeting, painting, plumbing (to name a few) services, so that 90% of the items on our inspection report were complete by the time we moved in. Read More When we found out we would be moving to Omaha from Oklahoma City we were looking for someone with a lot of knowledge of the area as we had never been to Omaha, knew no one there, and would likely be doing a lot of house searching online as we could not travel there often to go look at houses. We were referred to Kirstn Brown by several fellow physicals and we could not be happier. We went up for one weekend and she had about 12 houses lined up for us to view that weekend. She was very organized giving us a book of all the homes we would be viewing and their stats along with maps of the area, and a place where I could take notes on each property. She was very informative on the different areas and school districts in relation to where my husband would be working, she also gave me information on things to do in the city for families, great restaurants, and events. After a marathon weekend of house hunting we didn't find the one. Over the next couple of weeks Kirsten and I communicated daily about new houses that came on the market. If we saw one we liked she would go for a showing and Skype through the home with us even if it was after normal working hours for her. It was a very long process and we finally found a home and were under contract. We trusted her with what we knew we wanted and she came through 100% as we bought that house site unseen. She worked with us tirelessly preparing documents and contracts through all hours of the evening, negotiating on our behalf, and keeping us informed along the way. We now have closed on our home and the entire process was organized and painless which was so reassuring as we were not physically in Omaha.
