Read More In the beginning of our venture to find a home we had no idea which way to turn; no idea how the process was supposed to be. After several months of confusion with different realty agents and lenders, we continued to be lost in the whole process. We finally contacted Mike Yowell of NP Dodge and Mary Pauley of First National Bank of Omaha. Mike immediately understood the gravity of the situation, took charge of what we needed. In turn, Mary immediately took charge of the process of securing our lender needs. Both Mike and Mary immediately made us feel calm, excited and confident that we would get our home. As promised, the process was easy and delightful. Professional and easy to understand, we closed on our house a week earlier than originally scheduled. Bottom line; we will not hesitate to call on Mary and Mike for future endeavors and will be proud to recommend their team to family and friends and anyone else that wants a home. Read More What kind of realtor would spend over 2 years trying to find you the right home without missing a beat? Well Mike Yowell did just that for us. I'm about as picky as they come when it comes to finding just the right home. After passing on probably 6 or 8 for this reason or that, some of which were pretty trivial, Mike actually found us the perfect piece of property to build our dream home on! Through the build Mike was a critical piece of the puzzle as he pretty much ran with dealing with builders, permits and all that not-so-fun stuff. My wife and I are so thankful that we had Mike through what was a very wonderful but at the same time scary process and we'd do it all over again only if we had Mike by our side! A little over a year ago, I was in a predicament with my house I own in Omaha. I had taken a job in Delaware and left my house in Omaha. The house had been up for sail at my dream price with another agent. As a result it stood empty for months. Finally the nightmare began. I pipe broke in the kitchen flooding the dining room and basement. The place was in ruins. My other agent had not been checking into the place. Based upon the water bill I received much later at least 300k gallons of water had poured from the broken pipe. After the damage was discovered and I needed to get contractors and claims adjusters in to view the place, my other agent took off on a vacation without even giving me a heads up. Luckily I knew Mike before he was even an agent. I reached out to ask for assistance. Mike Yowell stepped up and without hesitation offered his services. With only the promise of a commission, he helped coordinate contractors, yard care people, inspectors, and anybody I needed to fix the damages and get the place ready for sale again. He says it was nothing, but it meant more to me than one could imagine. Knowing Mike was on the job made me feel secure and confident that things would go well.
