Let me just say we couldn't have secured our dream retirement home without his professionalism and solid experience as he negotiated an agreeable sale price and transaction with the very difficult seller party. He managed that beautifully from our perspective. In addition, he also was instrumental as he was our selling agent for house that allowed us to get into the new house with the most favorable outcome. We couldn't have asked for anything more. He also connected us with a mortgage company that put the deal together and he guided us through all the details and assisted us with all of our questions. I wish I could find some criticism to help him better himself in his career, but I honestly can't think of anything that he could have done differently or better for us. Duane was VERY informative and you could tell right off the bat that he knew his career and had our best interests in mind. We were very confident using him and have already recommended him to several of our friends and will continue to do so. When I was looking for an agent to help me sell my home, I was looking for someone who not only had experience, but was also willing to tell me hard truths about my home and the current market and what I needed to do to in order to make the process a successful one. I did not have a lot of experience when it came to selling a home, so I interviewed a few agents and asked around about the experiences of friends and neighbors. Duane came to our first meeting and impressed me right away. He had done his research, had a good presentation ready, and was immediately able to tell me key items that I could work on and what I would have to work on. He jumped right in and even helped me work on a window. He came up with a strong strategy based in reality that worked for me and his rate was very competitive for the comprehensive services that NP Dodge would be able to provide. Once we got started, he was a very comforting and accessible presence the entire way with positive coaching and observations. He had extensive contacts to suggest for a variety of needs that extended beyond what I was able to access on my own and I was extremely satisfied with the resulting work and rates. When the home was ready to show, I was out of town on a hike in the mountains and he bent over backwards to keep me updated. He provided me the flexibility to review and approve documents to keep the process moving until I returned where all went smoothly to the completion of the sale. I was very thankful for the way he was able to manage a great deal of stress away by providing the experience and knowledge I needed. From the get-go Duane was super helpful and friendly. We were living in Mississippi during the looking/buying process. He was very attentive to the wants and needs that we were searching for in a home. Duane took the time to get to know us, not just what we wanted in a home, and that made a huge difference as the houses he presented were all in some way a little bit of what we wanted. He was optimistic when we were picky and went out of his way to send us several videos and pictures of homes so we could have a better idea of what each place looked like. Since we were out of state during the buying process, Duane went the extra mile and helped us get inspections set up and even went to the home to let inspectors in. He didn't just disappear after the sale, either. Duane continued to check in for a few weeks afterwards to ensure there were no issues with our new home and that we were settling in. What I appreciate most is that Duane treated us like friends instead of clients. Throughout the whole process he didn't try to sell us what we didn't want, he provided honest feedback about homes, and earned our trust. With his help we found the house of our dreams! The buyer of our home this summer had a bad realtor and an absolutely terrible lender that made the closing process very stressful and chaotic, but Duane was a rock through everything. Our buyer actually started going around his own realtor and calling Duane with questions! He told me it was because he knew Duane would get back to him fast and with good answers. I really don't know if everything would've closed without his persistence keeping everyone moving, even sometimes against their will:). We took a chance because we only knew Duane from church and had no idea if he was a good realtor. What a pleasant surprise! We had another realtor come take a look at our house prior to signing with Duane, and he proposed we list $30k under what Duane sold it for!
