Read More My wife and I worked with Blane Rump during a period of trying to decide what to do with a house we owned but no longer-lived in. Do we sell it? Do we rent it, and if we rent it, what does that even look like and mean for our family's bottom line and our tax situation? We found Blane and the company he was with at the time and he took the time to walk us through everything from afar; as we lived in Texas while the house in question was in Omaha. Blane spent hours on the phone educating us, answering our questions and walking the property to tell us what we needed to have done to sell it and then what would need to be done to rent it. It wasn't just phone calls, Blane took the time to answer our questions via email and text messages too.We decided to lease our house under Blane's management and it was the best decision we could have ever made. Blane put us on a path to having that house work for us, to pay its own way and put cash in our pockets. I remember a couple of really bad Omaha storms; both damaged the property. As we are out of state owners, we were worried about immediately protecting our asset from further damage and finding reputable companies to work with our insurance company. Blane helped me from start to finish in the buying process. He worked to help me understand what I wanted in a home. At one point Blane even said You may decide to buy this house but I will not sell it to you. He could not have been more right with that statement! Blane is very knowledgeable and readily available. He made personal sacrifices to work around my schedule to show me potential homes. He kept me informed in every step of the way from searching listings to making an offer. When the process became overwhelming Blane reassured me that there was a home out there for me. After starting over more than once he truly helped me find not only a house, but a home!
